Hay sarap magyosi pero di naman ako nagyoyosi. Hmmm.. nagyosi narin ako dati pero stick stick lang at napakadalang. Ngayon gusto ko ng isa. Sarap magyosi pag badtrip ka pero di ko lam kung bakit. pero masarap pag sa ibang tao mahalaga ka sa kanila. kahit ano kapa. kahit hinahamak ka lang. lalong masarap sa pakiramdam na kahit anong mali sau eh hindi sila magbabago…. feels so empty… but then someone will pour themselves on to you to fill you up again. eto ako. isang hamak na tao lamang…. My last shot of anda last Feb. 5, birthday of my lolo (her brother) after 1 week my lolo passed away.
Yesterday at the office I received a text message coming from my sister. The news came from our aunts that my Anda(another term given to the sister of our grandfather) is not well. She wouldn’t eat and was very weak. My sister and my mom even told me that my anda is waiting for me to pass on her anting-anting, so i asked them what to do. They said that I should go home immediately so that my anda could pass it on by mouth. Unfortunately they were just joking about the anting-anting. Well, I did believe them because my other lolo also has one and died unable to pass on his anting-anting. He just opened his mouth released the pearl and when it touched the ground it disappeared. My lolo was a suki of NPA’s in Sariaya, Quezon. NPA’s fired at him and spectators said they had seen sparks at his back while he run in frantic. Hehehe. No one got the anting-anting from him when he died. Maybe because it will not make you sleep until you have fed it. You have to feed it with prayers you know. Anyways I was so dissapointed knowing that they were just joking about the anting-anting thing.
Then today my sister texted me again… “Kuya patay na ang anda”…. It really made my whole body numb. I really don’t like hearing news about death of my close relatives & friends. Really, i am very sad hearing about it. I remembered may childhood days. I used to bully my anda. I used to push her away. When she is sleeping, I’ll make a cigar made out of paper and put it inbetween her lips. My anda said that i used to call her “dilim”. Then in my teenage days I used to visit her in her kubo when we go to the province. She doesn’t want to go out and talk to my other relatives. She said they were mad at her because of her attitude. From there she started thinking she’s alone. She feels no one cares about her. But she’s wrong. In the middle of the night (which is every night) you will be awaken by creepy cries from that old kubo of hers. Well that’s why they get mad at her. They tried to pamper her and get her into my aunt’s house but still she cried all night. She always say she wanted to die. We dont know why? Every time we visit our lola I hurriedly go to her kubo to take a look if she’s ok. Sometimes I carry her and bring her to our lola’s house so everyone can see her and talk to her(even if she doesn’t want to.) Imagine me carrying my Anda running while she’s punching my face hehe. From there everybody’s laughing, including her. She always wanted to live with us. She wanted that because of my mom. Anda was the one who looked after my mom in her childhood days. Anda even hid antique clothes of my mom in her baul. She was really a big fan of my mom =D. We will really miss her. I’ll miss that kubo that we used to spend our emo moments, the one who gives me “tagalog na itlog”, the one who prepares ovaltine for us every morning (mah favorite because of the free toy inside =)), and the one I carry to my lola’s house. I miss her already… She was a great Anda/Lola to us. We are really thankful we had a lola like her. Rest in peace my Anda…. farewell…
